Short notes
We hired the Fleet Analytics Review before Chinese New Year travel. Farah’s team showed that unlock failures clustered at two riverside stands after 9pm — not across the whole island as we thought. Moving two battery carts earlier cut the overnight idle pile we kept photographing for the board. The partner summary was short enough that finance actually read it.

The retention clinic was useful, though I wished we had cleaned the payment-exit field before the session — we spent the first hour arguing about nulls. Once that settled, Mei’s notes made it obvious our helmet confirmation screen was timing out on slower Android phones during rain. We shipped a shorter prompt the next sprint.

Depot Rebalancing Brief for our Malacca–Ayer Keroh corridor gave morning move counts that matched what supervisors already felt on Fridays, which built trust. Saturday tourism spikes were higher than our gut said; we added one early van run and stopped running empty loops at midday.

Extended story: harbour promenade idle
A mid-size e-scooter operator along a west-coast promenade asked why “available” counts looked healthy while rider complaints about empty docks kept rising. The Fleet Analytics Review paired 30 days of status pings with the crew’s handwritten rain log.
Findings showed vehicles drifting into a shaded side street after short tourist hops, then sitting through lunch while the main promenade docks emptied. The app still labelled them available because the geofence allowed the side street. Webspringcore recommended tightening the end-trip fence for that block and shifting one midday rebalance earlier by 40 minutes.
Within three weeks the operator reported fewer empty-dock tickets on dry afternoons. They noted the analysis did not fix a separate Bluetooth unlock bug on older handsets — that stayed with their vendor — but the idle pattern was no longer blamed on the battery crew alone.
